Program Coordinator
Join a cross-disciplinary initiative designed to advance innovation in health and life sciences by connecting MIT faculty, researchers, students, and external partners. Provide critical operational and administrative support to this growing initiative; manage meetings, events, and collaborative activities; track program budgets and financial transactions; support communications and outreach efforts; organize workshops and research symposia; coordinate interdisciplinary working groups; assist with funding opportunities; maintain the MIT Health and Life Sciences Collaborative website and grant listings; process payments, travel reimbursements, and procurement using MIT systems; and support pre- and post-award grant administration.
Required: Bachelor's degree; a minimum of two years of experience in program coordination or administration, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit environment; and excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred: Familiarity with MITs administrative systems and a strong interest in health and life sciences.
This is a full-time position based at MITs Cambridge campus with hybrid work flexibility. Occasional evening or weekend events may be required. There are no supervisory responsibilities.
