The Jefferson Metropolitan Housing Authority (JMHA) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

AMP Manager

to oversee the day-to-day management of our public housing properties. This vital leadership position ensures the successful leasing, maintenance, compliance, and resident relations across our housing projects. The AMP Manager works closely with internal departments including Finance, Maintenance, HR, and the Executive Director to uphold JMHA's mission and maintain high-quality living environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lease vacant units promptly and maintain high occupancy levels.

Conduct tenant interviews, rent calculations, recertifications, and enforce lease terms.

Monitor and ensure compliance with HUD, JMHA, and state/local housing regulations.

Coordinate inspections in accordance with NSPIRE standards.

Manage rent collections, review tenant account receivables, and assist with budget planning.

Build strong relationships with residents, community agencies, and service providers.

Oversee project safety, procurement, and compliance reporting.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in public administration or related field preferred.

Minimum 2 years of property management experience.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Must complete Intake/Eligibility and Rent Calculation Course within 6 months of hire.

Public Housing Manager or Multifamily Certification within 1 year of hire.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of learning housing management software.

Valid driver's license and insurable under agency policy.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds regularly; up to 35 pounds occasionally.

Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends.

Comfortable conducting home visits and inspections in various environments.
