Maximus is seeking a talented and driven individual to become a Platform Infrastructure Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in deploying and maintaining our platforms that support multiple applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll oversee technical architecture to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and optimize system performance; implement corrective actions on existing platforms. Manage and maintain application integration using current networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls). Conduct regular cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Develop and maintain our security incident response plans and procedures. Create and implement automation scripts and tools to enhance platform deployments and management tasks. Deploy and manage systems with VMware, vCenter, Kickstart, Puppet, Foreman, and CIS-CAT. Configure and manage host-based security systems. Apply DevOps methodologies and tools, supporting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with RHEL containers. Utilize monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, IBM NetCool, and Solarwinds. Patch and manage systems using Red Hat Satellite Server. Provide hardware support for servers and workstations. Take on additional tasks as needed. Minimum Requirements: Active Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen; dual citizenship is not accepted. At least 12 years of experience in a related field. A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is a plus. Ability to work proactively and independently in support of mission-critical operations across diverse locations. Must reside within a commutable distance for daily onsite work and on-call requirements. Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call schedule to meet 24/7 operation needs. Preferred Skills: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA).
