Maximus is on the lookout for a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in deploying and maintaining various platforms that support multiple applications within our organization.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, provide oversight on technical architecture, and deliver scalable and reliable solutions that drive our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enhance system performance, taking corrective actions as needed.
Manage and maintain application integrations, utilizing essential networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
Conduct regular cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Develop and maintain robust security incident response plans and procedures.
Create and implement automation scripts and tools for streamlining platform deployments and management tasks.
Deploy and manage systems using VMware, vCenter, Kickstart, Puppet, Foreman, and CIS-CAT.
Configure and manage host-based security systems.
Employ DevOps methodologies and tools, promoting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within RHEL containers.
Utilize monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, IBM NetCool, and Solarwinds.
Patch and manage systems using Red Hat Satellite Server.
Provide hardware support for servers and workstations.
Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Only U.S. Citizens will be considered due to contract requirements; dual citizenship candidates cannot apply.
12+ years of relevant experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience with OpenShift.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently, supporting mission-critical operations across diverse geographical locations.
Must reside within a commutable distance for daily onsite work and on-call requirements.
This role necessitates 24x7x365 uptime, and candidates must be available to meet recall requirements and participate in a rotational on-call schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA).
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Colorado Springs, CO, requiring five days a week of in-office presence.
The minimum salary for this position is $95,000. The maximum salary is $175,000, with compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
