JOB SUMMARY
Join our team as a CDL B Truck Operator, where you will be responsible for the efficient pickup and delivery of containers to and from our valued customer locations. Your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction through safe and timely service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely drive and operate a commercial truck equipped with a specialized lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers at customer sites.
Conduct thorough daily pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and lift system.
Be open to accepting additional deliveries as needed based on business demands.
Utilize company-issued handheld devices for effective delivery verification and navigation.
Operate a forklift and overhead crane as required.
Ensure containers are clean and presentable before delivering to customers.
Manage rental paperwork and payment coordination with customers.
Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or issues and document relevant driver notes.
Perform necessary repairs on containers and lifts in the field or at the storage facility.
Provide assistance for storage center operations when necessary.
Maintain a clean truck cab, ensuring it is free from debris both inside and outside.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Typically reports to management, with direct supervisors such as Market Manager or Territory Manager.
This position does not involve direct management of other employees.
Pay Range:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restriction required. Must have a current and valid driver license. Will meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Minimum age of 21 years (insurance requirement). Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or be able to obtain a minimum 1-year certification (DOT requirement). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Basic math skills necessary to perform job duties. Or a combination of education, training, or experience that meets these requirements.
