Summary of Duties
The ITIL Change Management Analyst works with business partners (IT) within the Service Management function to align technology solutions and processes with IT and business strategies. The role involves evaluating change requests, improving processes, supporting business processes, and serving as a project team member. Essential Functions
Assist in governance of Service Management disciplines such as Change, Release, and Configuration Management. Participate in planning sessions related to projects or new technologies, document discussions, and facilitate reviews and meetings. Establish relationships with business partners and IT departments to provide process solutions. Assess process improvements using structured requirements processes and advise on priorities. Review change requests for completeness and compliance. Facilitate operational meetings, Change Advisory Board (CAB), and Post Implementation Review (PIR). Assist in developing user manuals, knowledge bases, and user training. Review impact of changes, investigate issues, and escalate problems. Monitor metrics to ensure customer satisfaction. Promote understanding of IT Service Management roles and processes. Support formal reporting related to IT Operations. Coordinate with SMEs for change approvals. Review risk information and develop mitigation plans. Verify quality and completeness of change implementations. Participate in CAB activities and validate key milestones. Analyze incident and change relationships. Work Experience
Demonstrated experience in IT Service Management. ITIL v3 or v4 Certification. Knowledge of ServiceNow platform and reporting tools. Ability to communicate and train users on process changes. Experience providing metrics, KPIs, and reports for management. Ensure documentation is reviewed and updated annually. Ability to work under high stress. Preferred Experience
ITIL Practitioner or Intermediate Certification. Experience with related ITIL processes like Request, Incident, and Problem Management. Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean and CoBiT. Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and independent working style. Experience in Change/Release Management. Preferred Education
Master's degree in Information Technology or equivalent. Communication Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Additional Details
