Job Summary:
Duties: Foster and promote the values of diversity and inclusion. Provide a warm and welcoming reception and courteous customer service to all who contact the Academic and Career Advising Center via direct interaction at the front desk or by telephone. Schedule student appointments with academic advisers and career specialists using EAB Navigate and Outlook. Guide the flow of student traffic in a prompt and courteous manner. Secure confidential information following the guidelines of FERPA. Attend staff meetings and trainings. May have other projects as needed. Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and a desire to help other students. Basic computer skills and ability to multi-task. Strict adherence to confidentiality and respect of others. Desire to work cooperatively in a team environment. Must be able to work independently, demonstrate good attendance and punctuality. Information:
The position will be open until a candidate is found. Wages/Compensation: $10.00/hr Hours: 6-10 Hrs/Week Job Type: Non-WS or Work Study You become eligible for a $0.25 wage increase after working each semester with good attendance and performance review.
