Position Announcement

Under the general direction of a director, performs and/or oversees a variety of associated administrative, fiscal, staff support, and planning activities. Some of which requires advanced or specialized knowledge and skills, such as budget administration, facilities scheduling, inventory control, specialized record keeping, and/or specified information-gathering projects and tasks. Coordinates and facilitates meetings, program functions, and/or special events as appropriate. Summary of Responsibilities

Informs students, faculty, and public of departmental and university services available, and answers incoming requests for information. Maintains inventory of office equipment and supplies and administers other office duties as needed. Performs other job-related duties as assigned or needed. Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

Must be a current UVU student and have been awarded Federal Work-Study for 2025-2026 through UVU Financial Aid. Preferred Qualifications

Previous office administrative experience. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Best practices in events, communications, correspondence, and appropriate matters of etiquette in various settings or vehicles. Computer systems and software essential to the completion of assigned duties. Office methods, techniques, practices, and procedures. Preparation and interpretation of reports, charts, graphs, and tables. Interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Customer service orientation and phone etiquette. Plan and anticipate potential changes and act accordingly. Follow oral and written procedures and instructions. Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Always maintain confidentiality. Perform a variety of administrative support duties with minimum supervisor.
