The Freight Technician is responsible for coordinating and handling the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring timely and accurate freight movement. This role supports warehouse and logistics operations by verifying shipment information, inspecting goods, preparing freight documentation, and assisting with loading and unloading shipments in compliance with company and carrier standards. In addition to hands-on freight handling, this role involves maintaining a clean and organized dock area, inspecting materials for damage or discrepancies, and proactively addressing any issues that may delay the shipping or receiving process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
