We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Contracts supporting the Space Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (SISR) mission area within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This role will support the Intelligence, Engineering, and Operations (IEO) Product Area. As a key member of this Contract's team, this position will support the day-to-day contract execution for several prime contractor and subcontractor programs that focus on delivering and sustaining complex software-based systems to support our Intelligence Community and/or the Department of Defense (DoD) customers. The position will report directly to the Contracts Manager within the IEO Product Area and will need to collaborate closely with various Program Managers and other Cross-functional teams. Interface with customers for correspondence, contractual changes and contractual issues Influence others through the explanation of facts, policies and practices Investigate and resolve contractual matters by critically thinking, gathering detailed information, seeking innovative contracting techniques, and proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders Provide advice/guidance on contractual rights/obligations, regulations, and policy/procedure to mitigate risks and unauthorized changes Occasional travel to other domestic Raytheon sites and customer locations Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date Experience in the administration, negotiations and/or management of contracts, procurement, supply chain, U.S. Government, Federal and/or State or Municipal contracts administrated and/or support functions Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Qualifications We Prefer
