We're hiring an Operations Lead to serve as the operational backbone of the company. Your job is to keep the business running smoothly while freeing up the founder (Sam) to focus 9095% of his time on selling to enterprise customers. This is a high-trust, high-impact roleperfect for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves getting things done, and knows how to scale operations without adding bureaucracy. You'll own all the "glue work" that keeps our team fast, focused, and frictionless: events, HR/admin, tooling, vendors, and special projects. What You'll Do:
Events & Marketing Ops: Manage sponsorships, prepare speaker decks, coordinate booth logistics, and support lead gen at conferences. People & Admin: Run the new hire checklist, route AP/AR, coordinate IT setup, and keep HR basics humming. Tooling & Data Ops: Maintain our internal Notion, Google Drive structure, and HubSpot setup. Special Projects: Jump into ad hoc needswhether that's building an internal dashboard or generating AI-powered sales collateral. We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has 13 years in a generalist operations role at an early-stage B2B SaaS or marketplace startup. Has personally run a national conference booth or a multi-city roadshow. Is fluent in tools like Google Workspace, Notion/Airtable, Zapier, and HubSpot (or similar CRM). Is scrappy, resourceful, and fast-movingyou build the table, not a meeting about the table. Is low ego and high ownershipyou're happy booking flights, prepping demo decks, and drafting dashboards. Writes clearly and professionallyyou can send investor-ready updates. Bonus: has experience in logistics or supply chain, but not required. Why This Role?
