About the Team: The Walmart Tech Finance team serves as strategic business partners to our Global Tech (GT) organization, functioning as co-pilots to the business and senior leaders within the GT organization. We are dedicated to driving financial excellence and strategic decision-making. Our team collaborates closely with senior technology leaders and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support growth initiatives, and ensure the optimal allocation of resources. About the Position: Do you want to use your financial skills to support some of the latest technology being built at Walmart and have a hand in telling the Global Tech story across the enterprise? The Senior Manager, Finance Technology works closely with the Director, Technology Finance to support the SVP of Tech Strategy; Emerging Tech. Emerging Tech encompasses all the latest and greatest technology solutions, including augmented reality and artificial intelligence. Additionally, this role will help support Global Tech Strategy, including communicating Global Techs story both inside and outside of Global Tech and helping guide the strategic long-range planning process for the entire Global Tech function. Responsibilities include: Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with technology leaders to understand business objectives, provide financial guidance, and support strategic initiatives. Decision Support: Provide robust financial analysis to estimate tech costs for new technology investments, evaluating tradeoffs for new features; functionality. Business Planning; Prioritization Support: Partner with the Director Emerging Tech; Strategy Finance and the Director Technology FP;A to deliver the Global Tech long-range plan to ensure efficient and optimal allocation of resources to align business needs with the companys financial goals. Storytelling: Develop engaging content that clearly articulates where tech has been, where we are going, and how technology can be seen as an investment in our associates and customers to drive results. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key financial metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to improve financial performance and operational efficiency. FP;A: Guide business partners to deliver on current year P;L goals. Lead monthly close and forecasting; identify risks and opportunities. Provide actionable insights to Tech leadership during monthly business reviews. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 6 years experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 3+ years experience in Analytics, Planning, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area 1+ years of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects 1+ years of senior leadership decision support and influencing experience Benefits; Perks: Beyond competitive pay, you can receive incentive awards for your performance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 1 years experience leading and completing cross-functional projects. 1 years supervisory experience.
