We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Prescott. This role is essential to supporting our medical and laboratory operations through high-quality specimen collection and patient interaction. Perform blood draws using straight and butterfly needles Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens according to test orders Accurately update patient information and match requisitions to specimen tubes Package specimens for transport, ensuring proper storage and temperature control Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations Clearly explain procedures to patients with professionalism and care Understand and follow physician orders with precision Answer phone calls and assist with lab result inquiries Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations Qualifications
Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of Arizona Minimum of 6 months of experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite High School Diploma or GED 13 years of relevant experience preferred Work Environment
This position is based in a dynamic lab setting where accuracy, safety, and professionalism are essential. You'll work with modern technology and follow strict protocols to ensure specimen integrity and patient safety. Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM
4:00 PM Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.59/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
