You'll play a key role in specimen collection and processing, helping ensure timely and accurate lab results. What You'll Be Doing
Perform venipunctures using straight and butterfly needles Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens based on test requirements Accurately update patient records and match requisitions to specimen tubes Package specimens for transport, maintaining proper temperature and integrity Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following decontamination protocols Provide clear, courteous explanations of procedures to patients Follow physician orders and lab protocols with precision Respond to phone inquiries and assist with lab result communication Participate in annual training and maintain compliance with OSHA and DEP standards What We're Looking For
Valid Phlebotomy certification in Arizona At least 6 months of hands-on experience in a clinical or hospital setting Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite High School Diploma or GED Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care Your Work Environment
You'll be based in a Patient Service Center (PSC), working alongside other phlebotomists to serve outpatient clients. Responsibilities include entering physician orders, verifying insurance, collecting payments, drawing blood, and preparing specimens for courier pickup. The pace is steady, the work is meaningful, and the team is supportive. Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM
4:00 PM Location: Prescott Valley, AZ Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.59/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
