Ongoing Position Details: Patient Population:
100% adult, 25% geriatric Setting:
Outpatient Clinic and Inpatient Hospital Coverage Call Ratio:
4:1 Patient Load:
15-20 per day (up to 30 during COVID spikes) Pathology Includes:
HIV, MRSA, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, septic joint, meningitis, diabetic foot infection, bacteremia, abscesses, and fungal infections EMR System:
Epic (Epic experience REQUIRED) Support Staff:
3 physicians in the group Responsibilities:
Cover both inpatient and outpatient infectious disease cases Consultative practice in managing complex infectious diseases Participation in infection prevention, infection control, and sepsis programs/committees as needed
Work Environment: Community-based practice in a modern medical office building adjacent to the hospital Collaborative and consultative practice, handling both routine and complex infectious disease cases Submission Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency - REQUIRED Active Indiana License at the time of submission - REQUIRED BLS Certification - REQUIRED Local Provider within driving distance - PREFERRED MUST be willing and available to cover BOTH inpatient and outpatient - REQUIRED Credentialing Timelines: Payer Enrollment: 90-120 days Hospital Privileges: 45-60 days Join us today!
