We are seeking a skilled and passionate Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience to join our growing team. While employment litigation experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with a strong foundation in other areas of litigation who can demonstrate transferable skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing cases independently and collaborating with a team of experienced attorneys. Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of employment law matters from intake through resolution * Conduct legal research and draft complaints, discovery, motions, and legal briefs * Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations * Advise clients on their legal rights, risks, and potential outcomes * Participate in strategy development with partners and team members * Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings * Second or third-chair jury trial and arbitrations
Qualifications
* J.D. from an accredited law school * Active membership in the California Bar * 1-3 years of employment law litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side * Proficiency in managing wrongful termination and sexual harassment litigation * Strong knowledge of California 91604, Los Angeles, California, United States employment laws and civil procedure both on a state and federal level * Commitment to representing employees with integrity and empathy
