Manager, Software Engineering, Data Security

Summary: Meta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team. We are looking for a leader who can drive innovation, foster collaboration, and demonstrate proven technical experience in the industry. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and ensure proven experience is applied effectively. Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives. Foster a work environment centered on continuous learning, growth, and improvement. Minimum Qualifications: Experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management. 12+ years of software engineering experience, or PhD + 8 years, including technical management. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience. At least 2 years managing managers and 5+ years managing technical teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working across software engineering and security operations, or in collaboration with security teams to enhance security measures. Experience with secrets management, key management, PKI, cryptography, credentials, and access management. Compensation: $213,000/year to $293,000/year + bonus, equity, and benefits.
