Software Systems Developer Acts as a focal point for large accounts providing network problem resolution and support on a world-wide basis. Troubleshoots and investigates device and networking issues. Supports large financial client firewall infrastructure. Implements and designs changes on firewalls, IPS, and IDS devices. Performs scheduled and emergency changes on firewalls. Participates in root cause analysis of critical network firewall incidents. Implements policy, NAT rules, and routes on firewalls. Monitors and analyzes the devices in the network using various network monitoring tools. Assures network security in a high availability environment by optimizing network performance. Troubleshoots hardware and software-based issues on network security infrastructure consisting of Checkpoint, Juniper, Fortinet, and Tipping Point devices. Position requires travel to various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. with expenses paid by the employer.
