Network Security Engineer Position (Job ID # 2): Network Security Engineer Location: 4324 North Beltline Rd, C201, Irving, TX, 75038. Duties: Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint Firewalls and IPSCE VPN. Consolidation, access requests, upgrades, and cleanup tasks. Specialized security hardware and software administration and maintenance. Project, design, development, and operational configuration and implementation. Troubleshooting and security event response. Implementation to support compliance, best practices, and policy. Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN). Support wide area network (WAN) and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance. Monitor website performance to ensure websites operate correctly and without interruption. Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. Administer network security measures. Work on tickets in the ticketing system. Update Visio diagrams to keep network diagrams up to date. Code upgrades on LAN and security devices. Coordinate with other teams while implementing network changes.
