As part of a team that drives over 40% of Amazon.com sales, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our understanding of pricing dynamics and customer perceptions. In this exciting role, you will: Collaborate closely with partner BIE, economics, and machine learning teams to identify opportunities and resolve challenges. Manage and facilitate the Price Perception BIE sprint planning and execution process. Conduct thorough analyses of key metrics to uncover trends and identify root causes of pricing-related issues. Develop metrics that effectively measure critical inputs and outputs influencing Amazon's price perception. Create deep dive analytical tools for key pricing metrics. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. You will need to quickly grasp the nuances of Amazon's pricing strategies and apply your analytical skills to drive impactful decisions. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of professional or military experience. 5+ years of SQL experience. Proficient in programming for data extraction, transformation, and cleaning of large datasets. Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis. Familiarity with AWS technologies. Strong scripting capabilities for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills. Knowledge of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining. Bachelor's degree. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working closely with business stakeholders to align data insights with business objectives. Proven track record of analyzing and communicating results effectively to senior leadership. This position is based in Seattle, WA.
