Job DescriptionJob Description Leading Pharmaceutical/Medical Device Company has an immediate need for an Assembly Technician

The role of the Assembly Technician is to ensure the overall operation of the assembly equipment. The primary responsibilities are to operate assembly machines in the production of high-quality parts. Responsibilities include monitoring the quality of components and clearly communicating to the supervisory team any issues. This role validates product quality through SPC and visual, dimensional, and functional quality checks as well as ensuring proper packaging.

D SHIFT: Friday through Sunday Nights, 12-hour workdays, 36-hour workweek; alternating to

Thursday through Sunday Nights, 12-hour workdays, 48-hour workweek Shift 6:00pm to 6:30am Pay Rate: 20.35 per hour

Position Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor assembly equipment following safety and quality procedures.

Verify component accuracy to prevent mix-ups.

Conduct quality checks using inspection tools.

Fill machine hoppers, perform rework, and sort scrap.

Load and thread tubing into machinery as needed.

Use handheld scanners for traceability and lot control.

Regulate equipment during emergencies.

Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment.

Record operating data and maintain supply levels.

Remove minor jams and readjust machinery.

Package finished products for storage or shipment.

Notify supervisors of quality or mechanical issues.

Assist in product and equipment investigations.

Comply with BRC/GMP/ISO standards.

Train new employees on operating procedures.

Desired Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

one year of factory/machine operation experience.

Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.

Basic PC and math skills; English proficiency required.

Physical capability to lift 25-65 lbs regularly, occasionally over 100 lbs.

Participation in safety programs and training compliance .

Experience with SAP is a plus.
