Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in managing our facilities' financial operations by accurately processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently, including invoice verification, coding, and data entry into the accounting system. Match invoices with purchase orders and packing slips, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues. Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and records. Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and implement best practices for accounts payable operations. Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in LTC accounts payable or related finance role. Proficiency in Sage Intacct, invoice management software (e.g. Stampli) and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Benefits:
