Technical Support Engineer, PLC

Responsibilities: Deliver timely and professional technical support to customers through phone, email, or on-site visits. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and automation/control systems. Gain a strong understanding of the company's product portfolio to provide accurate and effective support. Assist customers in understanding product features and applications to maximize usability. Analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and propose appropriate solutions. Collaborate with the engineering team to address complex or escalated technical matters. Conduct technical training sessions to improve customer knowledge and application of products. Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides. Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement. Requirements: Diploma or ITE qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering. 2-3 years of relevant experience in the industrial automation industry. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), motors, and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) is advantageous. A proactive, resourceful, and independent team player with strong problem-solving skills.
