We are currently seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician at Banyan Living, you will be responsible for the upkeep and efficient operation of our properties. This role involves performing repairs, conducting inspections, and ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe and comfortable living environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform regular inspections and routine maintenance of the apartment buildings and facilities. Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues. Conduct repairs related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general upkeep. Assist in preparing vacant units for new tenants, ensuring all repairs and cleaning are complete. Maintain the exterior grounds, including general landscaping and upkeep. Keep a detailed log of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies. Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential settings. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and basic HVAC. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Availability for on-call duties and emergency maintenance as needed.
