We are a service-oriented tax preparation and consultation firm based in Bethesda, MD. We are associated with a Wealth Management firm to serve their clients, financial advisors, and staff. This gives us a unique position of both serving clients and providing internal support. Our team of technically skilled professionals is committed to delivering a best-in-class service that is proactive and tailored to each client's unique needs. We aim to be the go-to tax preparation firm for individuals and businesses seeking a personalized approach to tax planning and preparation.
Role Description
This can be a part-time or full-time on-site/hybrid role for a Tax Manager in Maryland. The Tax Manager will be responsible for tax planning, compliance, and preparation, staying ahead of changes in the tax code, and providing expert guidance to high net-worth clients and businesses.
Qualifications
Tax planning and tax compliance skills (Partnerships, S Corps, C Corps, Estates, Trusts) Tax preparation and tax law knowledge in multiple states and industries Experience in quality control of tax returns Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills particularly interfacing with clients CPA license Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Seeking candidates with 7+ years of experience
Compensation
Starting at $67,500 for 20 hrs/wk. Dependent on experience. Bonus Above average 401k match Profit sharing potential
