General Description This job is at a Depot Level repair facility maintenance on types of aircraft, which include, but are not limited to, AV-8, C-130, C-2, E-2, EA-6B, F/A-18, H-1, H-53, H-60, MQ-8, P-3, P-8, F-35, and V-22. Military aviation platform experience is a plus. This position is located on a federal facility and will require a government-issued clearance. Duties Use computer systems to ensure all repair parts are accurately ordered, received, and issued. Provide warehousing, inventory management, and transportation skills. Order, receive, and issue parts and general supplies. Utilize current operating computer systems (e.g., CONOPS, MTO) to account for all government supplies and inventory records. Apply knowledge of material processes and Kitting procedures in production shops. Seek guidance from higher-level production controllers or supervisors for deviations or unusual situations. Push pick lists via CONOPS for ordering materials. Manage sub-routes and close lines in CONOPS. Use BOE to pull shortage and dispatch reports for respective shops. Complete SDRs for material credit. Execute shipping documents (1149), MRBs, and CODE G items. Ensure accuracy of material delay codes. Proficiently use the Universal Call Board and support functions for production shops. Use ASRS for kitting areas where deployed. Perform other duties as assigned. Education/Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum two (2) years relevant work experience. Knowledge of interdependencies among FRCSW buildings and workloads is preferred. Proficiency in explaining production reports and criteria. Ability to obtain forklift license. Strong computer skills and confidentiality awareness. Knowledge of aviation technical material is preferred. Experience from military or civilian heavy structure backgrounds is preferred. Military installation level maintenance experience is preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Participation in post-offer, pre-employment substance testing is required. Functional Requirements Ability to walk, stand, crawl, kneel, and bend for periods. Ability to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands. Ability to crouch, grasp, pull, push, reach, and handle objects; good finger dexterity; ability to bend elbows/knees; reach above/below shoulders. Lift up to 44 pounds and carry moderate weights. Good vision for reading gauges, detecting imperfections, and identifying small objects. Ability to communicate verbally and hear. Ability to distinguish colors and judge depth. Operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklifts, cranes, trucks, and tractors. Environmental Factors Work indoors and outdoors around machinery, vehicles, ladders, and scaffolds. Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, silica, asbestos, fumes, smoke, gases, solvents, and electrical energy. Work on slippery or uneven surfaces. Work alone or with others. Possible irregular or extended hours as needed.
