This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on event management and comprehensive marketing responsibilities, requiring someone who can build client relationships, close deals, execute flawless events, and effectively promote our brand. Sales Management - Events and Lodging

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize both event bookings and lodging sales. Identify and pursue new business opportunities for events, weddings, group bookings, corporate retreats, and leisure stays. Build relationships with event planners, wedding coordinators, caterers, photographers, and corporate event managers. Create integrated packages combining lodging accommodations with event services. Maintain and expand existing client relationships across both lodging and events. Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, contracts, and pricing packages for accommodations and events. Track sales metrics for both revenue streams, analyze performance data, and report on combined revenue goals. Regularly monitor revenue management tools and strategies for lodging to maximize profit. Cross-sell lodging to event clients and event services to lodging guests. Collaborate seamlessly with the Operations and Facilities Manager to ensure smooth execution of events and guest experiences. Coordinate with the management team to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and operational efficiency. Participate in regular management meetings to align on priorities, share insights, and solve challenges collectively. Maintain the warm, welcoming atmosphere that distinguishes our family-owned establishment. Marketing Management

Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional print channels. Manage and maintain Cedar Grove's brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints. Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies for lodging and event offerings. Represent Cedar Grove at wedding shows, community functions, and industry organizations. Create and update marketing materials, including brochures, website content, social media posts, and promotional videos. Oversee website content management, SEO optimization, and online booking platform updates. Develop and manage social media strategy across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). Design and implement email marketing campaigns for both lodging guests and event clients. Create compelling visual content and photography showcasing facilities and events. Track marketing performance metrics and ROI across all channels. Develop seasonal marketing campaigns and promotional packages. Event Planning and Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for event clients from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up. Coordinate all aspects of events, including catering, accommodations, audiovisual needs, and logistics, in partnership with the Operations and Facilities Manager. Work with the Operations and Facilities Manager to ensure venue spaces meet client requirements and are properly maintained. Collaborate with the Operations and Facilities Manager on staffing coordination, service delivery standards, and guest satisfaction protocols. Develop detailed event timelines, floor plans, and coordination schedules. Manage vendor relationships and oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and venue policies. Handle event budgets, billing, and final reconciliation. Conduct site tours and venue presentations for prospective clients. Customer Service, Lodging Operations, and Relationship Management

Oversee and manage lodging front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest check-in/check-out experiences. Handle direct lodging sales inquiries, reservations, and booking confirmations. Train and supervise front desk staff on customer service standards, sales techniques, and property procedures. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire client experience for both lodging and event guests. Address and resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Conduct post-event evaluations and post-stay surveys to gather feedback for continuous improvement. Maintain a detailed client database and communication records for both lodging and event customers. Follow up with clients to encourage repeat business, referrals, and positive online reviews. Ensure seamless coordination between front desk operations and event services for guests utilizing both. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales and/or event management, preferably in the hospitality industry. Experience with wedding and corporate event planning. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in CRM software, property management systems (PMS), Google tools, event management platforms, and digital marketing tools. Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing best practices. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications

Graphic design skills and proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva). Photography and videography skills for content creation.
