What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $98,682-$140,000. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to: A guaranteed life-long monthly pension, once vested after 5 years of service 457B Retirement Plan 140 hours of PTO earned within first year + 12 paid holidays, 1 personal holiday, 1 Wellness Day and 1 volunteer day per year Competitive medical, dental and vision plans effective within 1 month of start date The City and County of Denver has announced furlough days, or unpaid days off, for most employees to meet a budget shortfall in 2025. There are two fixed furlough days for all limited (temporary positions with an end date) and unlimited (permanent) employees on August 29th, the Friday before Labor Day, and November 28th, the day after Thanksgiving. If you receive an offer for this position, your annual pay will determine whether you are required to take additional furlough days. Details will be discussed during the offer process for selected candidate(s).
Location & Schedule
This position will report in person Monday- Friday to our Airport Office Building located at Denver International Airport. The schedule will be mostly standard business hours, however, might require early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays for operational needs.

We are currently seeking an Airport Conveyance Systems Administrator to join our Technical Operations Team!
Key Responsibilities will include:
Read, understand and be conversant on provisions and requirements of contracts related to Airport Conveyances. Manage the deliverables of contracts that are related to Airport Conveyances. Track budgets of contracts related to Airport Conveyances. Communicate issues related to Airport Conveyances with people at all levels within and external to the organization. This includes the EOC and DEN Operations. Subject Matter Expert for projects within and around Airport Conveyances and coordinate any access and escorting that is required. Review, approve and coordinate Shutdown Requests that may affect the Airport Conveyances. Manage complex customer, tenant and contractor issues. Prepare and present reports to leadership relating to areas of responsibility. Collaborate with DEN stakeholders to improve transparency, accountability, and standardization Directs the development of contracts within the functional area including drafting RFP for professional/services contracts, evaluating proposals and selecting successful bidder. Facilitate weekly meetings with the Contractor. Facilitate AGTS Annual Recertification with the State Inspector and the AGTS Contractor. Performs other related duties as assigned. What You'll Bring

4 years of experience with Contract Management and Administration. Strong Analytical Skills: identify risks and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Strong Attention to Detail: Have a keen eye to identify inconsistencies and errors in contract deliverables. Ability to be resilient, adaptable and diplomatic and able to make well-reasoned decisions Decision-making, problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Superior customer service skills Self-motivated and hardworking Experience with Microsoft Office applications Sense of teamwork Required Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in a related field based on specific position. Experience Requirement: Five (5) years professional experience in operations and maintenance of electromechanical systems, baggage handling systems, logistics infrastructure, and/or conveyances. Education and Experience Equivalency: Two (2) years of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements. License/Certification Requirement: By position, requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
