Akkodis is seeking a Systems Administrator for our client located in Golden, CO.
This position requires at least 4 years of experience in Systems Administration. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the virtual infrastructure hardware, operating systems, storage, and virtual servers which support business functions. A qualified candidate will have experience in Windows, Citrix, and VMware. Pay/Salary Range: $35/hr-$45/hr Systems Administrator responsibilities include: Setting up administrator and service accounts, tuning system performance, installing system-wide software and allocate mass storage space Maintain Windows Active Directory & Microsoft Azure Entra Connect and related tools Maintain system backups, replications, modifications, and disaster recovery procedures Maintains Group Policy and applies local security policies Identify and execute process improvements to enhance system performance and reliability Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning Responsible for maintaining the virtual infrastructure hardware, operating systems, storage, and virtual servers which support business functions Develops and maintains detailed documentation and standard operating procedures Implement and adhere to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management Qualifications: 4+ years of experience with Systems Administration in a Virtualized Windows Server environment (e.g. 2016, 2019, 2022) 2+ years of experience with VMWare management and administration, Citrix Cloud implementation and management ( DAAS and WEM), and back-end infrastructure technologies and tools( Virtual Servers, Storage, Backups, Disaster Recover, and Security) Experience with storage area networks and network attached storage (Dell VXRail, HP Nimble, Synology) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements If you are interested in this Systems Administrator position, then please click APPLY NOW.
