The Senior Business Analyst works with IT leadership to design and implement software systems. Additionally, responsible for working with end users to determine and document requirements, dependencies, interfaces, and opportunities to optimize business practices. Understands the structure, policies, and operations of the organization to recommend solutions that enable ACR to achieve its goals. Improves systems/processes by studying current practices, designing modifications, preparing processes and systems, streamlining alternatives, and making recommendations to stakeholders. This role will organize and perform work projects in support of strategic IT objectives. With a direct impact on major programmatic, departmental, and functional objectives, this position requires applying judgment to analyze complex situations where procedures and techniques are not clearly defined.
Job description:
As a member of the ACR team, you will: Elicit business requirements through user story workshops and make recommendations to stakeholders. Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria; document use cases, business/system/functional requirements, performance/stability requirements, traceability matrices, and test cases; Use SCRUM Agile methodology to document requirements - Epics, Themes, User Stories, and Personas; Run daily stand-ups and effectively manage team and stakeholder meetings Help manage sprint workflows and ceremonies, such as grooming sessions Work closely with developers and QA to ensure the product meets all project requirements, including performance testing/stability requirements Produce process flows, low-fidelity wireframes/mock-ups, user training, release notes, and other technical documentation Understand the structure, policies, and operations of a business area and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals Collaborate with stakeholders and IT to ensure high-quality communication and results Support and adhere to ACR's Software Development Lifecycle, including preparation of relevant documentation for major and minor software releases; you should have some familiarity with software releases in a healthcare technology or other heavily regulated environment Work on one or more projects concurrently, with the frequent requirements changes associated with developing software on leading-edge technologies Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Strong technical skillset, including basic knowledge of AWS/cloud technology, database/backend architecture experience, experience documenting non-functional/technical requirements; SQL experience a plus 7+ years of directly relevant experience in developing requirements and performing system analysis, preferably in a regulated environment; Experience working in an Agile environment using SCRUM methodologies required; Experience compiling requirements into Jira and Confluence-based documentation as part of the release cycle Skilled user of JIRA, Confluence, visualization/workflow diagramming tools (Lucidcharts), and MS Office required; Experience developing healthcare systems in a HIPAA-compliant context; general knowledge of the medical field about radiology is highly desirable Experience with healthcare data submission, complex healthcare systems, and technology standards (such as EHR, HL7, FHIR, DICOM) is a plus Experience with operational support for live software, i.e., reviewing/triaging tickets, managing Tier 1 tickets Experience developing products (applications) on emerging platform technologies Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Information Systems, business administration or related field preferred; Industry leading certifications such CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, SAFe are desirable; Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, and a solution-oriented mindset; Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills; bility to work successfully as both part of a team and individually, across multiple projects at once, and in a remote-first setting Self-starter and self-learner mindset, works effectively in a remote-first environment
