The successful candidate will be flexible and willing to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Key Responsibilities: - Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing practices and protocols.- Monitor and document patient health status, reporting any changes to the nursing staff or healthcare team.- Provide personal care and support to patients, assisting with daily living activities.- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.- Educate patients and their families about health management and wellness strategies.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.- Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services. Qualifications: - Must hold a valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Hawaii.- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred, particularly in critical care or similar environments.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient care needs.
