Supply Chain Finance Director
to lead their supply chain finance function at their offices in Los Angeles. This highly visible role is instrumental in driving financial performance and operational excellence across the supply chain, with a strong focus on multi-year strategy, cost optimization, inventory controls, and value creation. The ideal candidate is both a strong leader and a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**$175K-200K+ 15%-20% Bonus + LTIP**
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership Lead the development and execution of the multi-year supply chain financial strategy in partnership with Supply Chain leadership. Drive financial support for supply chain transformation initiatives and sourcing strategies to improve profitability. Financial Forecasting & Analysis Lead Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Perform SKU-level expected vs. actual cost analysis to uncover savings opportunities. Inventory & Controls Oversee inventory reconciliations between ERP (Microsoft D365) and third-party WMS systems to ensure accurate reporting. Manage inventory adjustments and write-offs in compliance with financial controls and audit standards. Monitor and analyze Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory (SLOB), partnering with Operations to minimize waste and risk. Margin and Variance Analysis Lead gross margin analysis, identifying key drivers and providing actionable insights. Analyze purchase price and consumption variances to drive cost reductions. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Operations, Procurement, and broader Finance teams to identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives. Support governance for savings tracking and value realization. Team Development Lead and mentor a high-performing team of supply chain finance professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in a supply chain finance leadership role. Deep understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and supply chain operations. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Proven ability to manage complex data sets, perform detailed variance analysis, and provide strategic insights. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams. Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to develop and inspire a team. High level of business acumen and comfort operating both strategically and tactically.
