Job Title
The City of Virginia Beach Department of Human Services (DHS) seeks an experienced individual who has at least two years of accounting experience, customer service skills, posting knowledge, the ability to multitask and work independently. Specific Duties:
Responsible for timely and accurate posting for assigned third party payers including Commercial Plans, Medicaid, Medicare, Self-Pay, Unit Deposits, Unapplied, Debt Set Off, and CSA. Posting zero-dollar remits in a timely manner for all insurance companies. Responsible for learning how to dump and download remits and posting the X pages. Running reports for MAP, Pembroke 6 and Magic Hollow schedules to check the insurance on clients, Encounter report and Unapplied report. Effectively communicate with administrative staff and insurance company representatives. Accurately perform duties with minimal supervision and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
