Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate
Medical Assistant
to support clinical and front-desk operations. This safety-sensitive role involves direct patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with providers to deliver exceptional patient experiences. Key Responsibilities: Room patients, take vitals, update EMR with history & medications Assist provider with exams, procedures, and treatments Perform phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, in-office diagnostics & CLIA-waived labs Administer medications, start/monitor IVs (if certified) Provide patient education and follow-up calls Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize equipment Handle front desk tasks: phones, scheduling, check-in/out, referrals Track inventory and order medical/office supplies Train new team members as needed Qualifications: High school diploma required; Medical Assistant certification preferred 1+ year experience as a Medical Assistant CPR certification preferred; IV and phlebotomy experience a plus EMR and basic computer proficiency (Google Suite, Microsoft Office) Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Attributes: Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team player with excellent communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Able to multitask and work independently Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs Manual dexterity and visual/auditory acuity Reliable transportation required Benefits: Competitive salary Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and holidays #LM

At least one year of clinical medical assistant experience
* Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records. * Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies. * Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height. * Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician. * Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients. * Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. * Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing. * Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician. * Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments or materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures.
