American Traveler is seeking an LPN with 2 years of inpatient rehab or Med Surg experience and Epic proficiency for a day shift travel assignment in a rehab facility.Job Details•Work in a 49-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital,•Assigned to the rehab nursing unit caring for adults with neurological, orthopedic, and complex rehab needs,•Patient ratio is typically 1:7,•Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:00 with every other weekend required,•No call or floating required,•Uses Epic EHR; Epic experience required,Job Requirements•Active LPN license required if applicable,•Current BLS certification (RQI certifications not accepted),•Minimum 2 years of experience in either Med Surg or inpatient rehab facility (IRF),•Must have prior acute inpatient rehab or acute rehab hospital experience,•Epic EHR experience required,•At least 1 year of travel experience required,•Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the facility,•Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months,•Cannot be employed full time elsewhere,•Social Security card and date of birth required for consideration,•Active license verification required at time of consideration,•COVID vaccination card required,Additional Information•Care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic procedures,•Common responsibilities include blood glucose monitoring, insulin protocols, feeding tube care, foley catheter management, and IV skills,•Utilizes established protocols for isolation precautions and wound care,•Team is supported by experienced rehab professionals,•Any color scrubs and sneakers are acceptable for dress code,•Preferred candidates have experience with Level II trauma,•References are not required at the time of consideration
