The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in inpatient rehabilitation, particularly with experience in working with patients who have experienced strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care in a rehabilitation environment.- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IVs in compliance with protocols.- Educate patients and families on recovery processes and rehabilitation techniques.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes.- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med-Surg or Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF).- Must have experience with EPIC electronic health records.- Strong knowledge of common rehabilitation diagnoses and treatments including, but not limited to: hypertension, insulin protocols, feeding tube care, swallowing precautions, and wound care.- BLS certification is required. Preferred Skills: - Travel experience in healthcare settings.- Experience treating complex diagnosis such as CVA, Parkinson's, post-craniotomy, spinal injury, and brain injury.
