Team Leader, Design & Trade . Your upbeat attitude and ability to engage customers keep the sales floor energized and motivate Sales Associates. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Leader, Design & Trade, you will lead your team to meet and exceed daily sales goals. You'll monitor the sales floor, adjust staffing as needed to ensure personalized customer attention, and act as a mentor. You will coach and develop creative strategies to help your team excel and provide constructive feedback to groom them for advancement. A typical day as a Team Leader, Design & Trade includes: Leading designated functional teams and managing associate workload in partnership with the Assistant Store Leader. Coaching associates on performance and maintaining a strong presence in the department. Partnering with the Assistant Store Leader to train and develop associates on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, visual merchandising, policies, and procedures. Staying informed about new store initiatives and communicating changes to ensure adoption store-wide. Driving sales by promoting current products and awareness of in-store and out-of-store offerings. Reviewing KPI results, identifying opportunities, and implementing corrective actions with the Assistant Store Leader. Communicating regularly with the Assistant Store Leader regarding business results, strategy execution, customer feedback, and associate performance. Ensuring all customers receive gracious, quick, and efficient service by setting expectations and modeling behaviors. What you’ll bring: A personal style with a discerning eye and passion for design and home furnishings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A high school diploma/GED or equivalent. We’d love to hear from you if you have: At least 1 year of customer service or retail experience. Full-Time roles: Open availability to work flexible hours including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Part-Time roles: Availability to work at least two weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or evening. Minimum Starting Rate:
$20.70 per hour Up to:
$25.88 per hour. Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to salary, associates may be eligible for bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives depending on role.
