Job Summary: Responsible for leading the overall IT strategy and execution at El Dorado National–California (ENC), the Director of Information Technology oversees all aspects of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise business applications in support of a clean-energy vehicle manufacturing environment. This position ensures that all systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with the operational requirements of Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance.

The role combines long-term strategic planning with active involvement in implementation, system management, and problem-solving. It requires expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise application oversight to support high-volume production, safeguard intellectual property, and maintain data visibility across the full product lifecycle. This position generally follows a Monday through Friday schedule; however, some weekend or off-hours support may be required during system go-lives, maintenance windows, or unplanned outages. Lead IT infrastructure strategy including networks, cloud, servers, endpoint management, and backups. Manage and enhance cybersecurity posture including firewalls, endpoint protection, identity access management, and secure customer/vendor/data integrations. Oversee technology assets, system architecture, and business continuity preparedness. Lead implementation, governance, and lifecycle of all business applications across operations, engineering, sales, HR, and finance. Ensure enterprise-wide data integrity, change control, and user access compliance. Drive alignment between functional business processes and digital systems. Build and lead a high-impact IT team, managing both internal talent and external partners. Serve as key partner to executive leadership on IT strategy, budgeting, risk mitigation, and vendor selection. Support and guide system adoption, training, and user support for all departments.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proven experience leading enterprise-level IT strategy across infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business systems. Strong understanding of security architecture, cloud platforms, and system integration. Demonstrated success enabling digital transformation in a manufacturing environment. Ability to align technology to business needs and lead cross-functional initiatives. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards.

Education, Experience, and/or Required Licenses:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing or industrial technology environment. Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, and/or platform-specific credentials in cybersecurity, cloud architecture, or enterprise systems.
