Full Time Days The community youll be caring for: Located in the heart of Texas, AdventHealth Central Texas provides care for the citizens of Bell, Coryell and Lampasas counties. AdventHealth Systems Emergency Department (ED) is a 38 bed ED with a 24/7 split flow model. Our ED is divided into two zones: Vertical Flow Zone:
Offers a faster and more comfortable care experience for patients with less severe symptoms, staffed by mid-level providers. Horizontal Flow Zone:
For patients with more acute or severe conditions, ensuring prompt and comprehensive care. The role youll contribute: As a Nurse Manager, you will prioritize service while caring for the whole person in a faith-based atmosphere. You will be responsible for the operation of a nursing unit, demonstrating critical thinking, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance, employee relations, and compliance. The value youll bring to the team: Demonstrates core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork. Properly documents and reports procedures and assessments. Performs assessments, reassessments, and manages pain and response to interventions. Assesses and intervenes in suspected abuse or neglect. Administers treatments and medications. Responds appropriately to clinical emergencies. Accurately interprets and verifies physicians orders. Assesses data relative to patient age and takes appropriate action. Investigates concerns and suggests improvements. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred. Current Texas RN License or NCLA Compact RN License. 2+ years as an ER Manager. Experience building relationships between Physicians and Nurses. Job Details:
