As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our customers through application architectures, migration strategies, and successful project launches. You will have the opportunity to work with Amazon's robust suite of cloud services, including Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and Amazon CloudFront.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading technical engagements focused on specific implementation projects.
Providing best practices to customers and developing deep expertise in AWS technologies.
Serving as a subject matter expert on security concerning application and service implementations.
Delivering exceptional technical design and thought leadership to a range of customers.
Collaborating with a world-class sales and business development team to drive AWS adoption in the Public Sector.
Capturing and sharing best practices within the AWS Solutions Architect community.
We are looking for someone who is:
Dedicated to helping customers design and implement cloud architectures.
Committed to continuous learning and keeping technical skills current.
Experienced in technical presentations, both in small and large group settings.
This role requires occasional travel (up to 30%) and candidates must be U.S. citizens due to government contract clearance requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data analytics.
3+ years of design and implementation experience in applications and infrastructures.
10+ years of overall experience in IT development or consulting.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
Experience working directly with end users or developer communities.
