Position Overview As an IT Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in addressing moderately complex system issues and collaborating with business and IT stakeholders. You will leverage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology to gather, define, and document requirements and technical solutions for enhancements to our specialty application. Key Responsibilities Gain a thorough understanding of business requirements and ensure the IT Business Requirement Specification acceptance criteria are met before sign-off; document the project scope for system enhancements.

Develop a detailed work plan and estimate based on scope; facilitate discussions on scope management and prioritization with project teams.

Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business needs for modifications to the Specialty application (ScriptMed) and outline functional, high-level, and detailed system requirements.

Participate in discussions about ScriptMed configuration solutions, ensuring clarity on requirements, approaches, and system solutions; obtain sign-off from all impacted parties.

Facilitate solution design reviews between IT and business requestors to clarify questions regarding software changes, collaborating with Quality Assurance and UAT teams on related test cases.

Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior members of the Specialty IT team and contribute to the enhancement of team and system development processes.

Lead Scrum events such as daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; assist the product owner in managing the product backlog.

Track and report on project status, issues, and risks.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; High School Diploma or GED is required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in functional system requirements analysis specifically within ScriptMed.

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications Expertise in conflict management and the ability to negotiate agreements based on interpretation of facts and policies.

Strong self-direction and capability to work autonomously or within a team, consistently delivering on job responsibilities.

Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Proven problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with a positive approach to business interactions.

Collaborative team player adept in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Experience leading diverse project teams to achieve target outcomes.

Ability to independently determine analysis methods and techniques for effective results.

Willingness to accept direction from both direct and indirect leaders.

Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or healthcare settings, with knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA and/or PCI).

Background in software development industries, with knowledge of software development life cycles.

Awareness of security considerations related to the domain.

Experience with Prime claims systems.

Proficiency in Visio, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Physical Demands Travel between Prime locations may be required.

Willingness to work outside of core hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Frequent sitting, hand usage, verbal communication, and listening will be necessary.

Reaching with hands and arms is commonly required.

Occasional lifting or moving up to 10 pounds will be necessary.

Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus are essential for this role.

All employees must comply with security responsibilities and adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements relevant to their roles. The compensation for this position ranges from $66,000 to $106,000, based on experience and skills.
