Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a motivated Solutions Architect to drive our growth in the World Wide Public Sector practice. In this role, you will have the chance to shape and deliver strategies that expand the adoption of Amazon's vast utility computing web services, including AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS RDS, and AWS CloudFront. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Leading technical engagements and ensuring successful implementation of projects.
Designing implementation architectures and responding to RFPs.
Developing deep expertise in AWS technologies, along with a comprehensive understanding of application and service construction using the AWS platform.
Acting as a subject matter expert on security for customer applications and services.
As a member of our team, you will offer exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers, collaborating with top sales and business development professionals. You will also have the opportunity to share and capture best practices among the AWS solutions architect community.

We seek candidates with experience in the following areas:
Technical presentation skills—comfortable presenting to both small and large audiences.
Experience in web services development and deployment, alongside cloud computing knowledge.
Operational expertise in website/services management and security.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
4+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
10+ years of experience in IT development or consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within software development or Internet-related sectors.
Experience transforming or migrating legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
Hands-on experience with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

This position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $118,200 to $204,300 per year, depending on geographic location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your personal and professional growth.
