As a Lead Business Analyst in Trade Analytics, you will connect Global Trade, Supply Chain, and Business Strategy, delivering invaluable insights that steer Amazon's supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive mid- and long-term strategic analyses that respond to market and economic conditions.
Support advanced probabilistic simulations and math-driven projections, considering factors such as tariffs, exchange rates, and freight costs.
Provide strategic business insights to executive leadership, effectively translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with diverse teams including Supply Chain Innovation, Retail Strategy, and Executive Leadership.
Drive supply chain optimization through insightful, data-driven recommendations.
Contribute to important initiatives that create strategic business guidance.
Monitor emerging trends and innovations in global trade and supply chain management.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
3+ years of experience with SQL queries and generating business intelligence reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Proficiency in defining requirements and utilizing data to derive business insights.
Solid experience with Excel.
Proficient in SQL.
Demonstrated ability to make business recommendations and influence stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent.
Experience in business strategy.
Background as a financial analyst.
Excellent analytical skills with the capability to develop complex financial models and simulations.
Thorough understanding of retail, fulfillment, and trade analytics data.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Experience with supply chain operations and global trade dynamics is an advantage.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Compensation is influenced by factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Beyond base pay, Amazon provides a total compensation package, which includes equity, sign-on payments, and various benefits.
