As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be pivotal in shaping data-driven strategies that empower podcast hosting and monetization. This role involves transforming publisher data into predictive tools, experimentation frameworks, and actionable insights that drive growth. Collaborating closely with product leaders, software engineers, and business intelligence teams, you will generate scalable and impactful data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Work with Product and Business Intelligence Engineers to create and implement metrics that quantify the impact of ART19 product launches. Analyze large and complex datasets to develop models that yield insights into publisher and advertiser behavior. Design and deliver scalable solutions for integrating data from various sources across Amazon Ads. Collaborate on identifying approaches to optimize ART19-specific models using the Amazon Ads science ecosystem. Translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies through deep dives with product teams. A successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. You should be a team player with strong technical judgment, capable of steering discussions that lead to meaningful outcomes. A passion for solving customer challenges and a proven track record of delivering significant projects are essential. You should thrive in ambiguous problem spaces and drive alignment among stakeholders. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab). 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist. Proficiency in statistical models such as multinomial logistic regression. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in data visualization tools like AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or R Shiny. Experience in managing data pipelines. Familiarity with the AWS tech stack, including AWS Redshift, S3, EC2, and Glue. Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience within a data science team. Experience in the design, deployment, and evaluation of Large Language Model (LLM)-powered tools and agents. At Amazon, we are committed to ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace.
