Business Analyst, Financial Operations, BwP/MCF

Join our team as a Business Analyst in Financial Operations for the Buy with Prime (BwP) initiative at Amazon! We are transforming the shopping experience by empowering entrepreneurs and merchants to reach their customers through every channel. Our goal is to extend Prime benefits, including fast shipping and seamless checkout, to merchants' online stores, supporting small and medium-sized businesses in their growth. As a key member of the BwP Financial Operations team, you’ll play a crucial role in decision-making processes. You'll retrieve and aggregate data from diverse sources, transforming it into actionable insights. Your analytical skills will help identify root causes of business challenges and uncover future opportunities. You will effectively communicate your findings to stakeholders and business leaders. Your Key Responsibilities: Develop insightful analytical solutions to drive business improvement. Engage with internal stakeholders to analyze outliers. Compile data into digestible formats for informed decision-making. Communicate complex analyses to stakeholders clearly and concisely. Collaborate with marketing managers to create metrics for program evaluation. Work with large datasets, automate data extraction, and build monitoring/reporting dashboards. Write high-quality SQL code for data retrieval and analysis. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field. 5+ years of expertise in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, power pivots) and data visualization tools like Tableau. 3+ years of experience in business or financial analysis. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Experience defining requirements and using data to derive insights. Proficient in SQL. Ability to make business recommendations and influence stakeholders.
