Job Title: Mechanical Assembler II – Large Parts / TIG Welding
Location: Pomona, CA
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled
Mechanical Assembler II
to join our team in Pomona, CA. This position focuses on the
assembly of large mechanical components
and
requires TIG welding as a core function . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large parts in a manufacturing setting, be proficient in blueprint reading, and be comfortable using various hand and power tools.
This is a full-time, on-site role offering a consistent day-shift schedule and an opportunity to work on advanced machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Assemblelarge mechanical parts and subassemblies according to specifications
Perform precision TIG welding as part of the mechanical assembly process
Read and accurately follow mechanical blueprints and schematics
Use hand and power tools (e.g., impact guns, grinders, drills) to complete assemblies
Verify part dimensions using measuring tools such as
tape measures and calipers
Move and position large components with assistance or using lifting equipment
Communicate with lead or supervisor regarding issues in the build process
Scan job progress using
Made2Manage (M2M)
system and fill out traveler sheets
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Meet production deadlines and maintain a high standard of quality
Perform other assembly or welding tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum
3 years of experience
in mechanical assembly, specifically with
large parts
TIG welding proficiency
(steel and/or aluminum components)
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with standard assembly tools
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and detailed drawings
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
High attention to detail and strong focus on safety and quality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience using
ERP systems
such as Made2Manage (M2M)
Forklift or crane operation experience (a plus)
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Must be able to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Frequent handling of heavy or bulky components (with mechanical assistance as needed)
Work performed in a
manufacturing shop environment
