Sierra7, Inc. is seeking a Senior Auditor to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) - Office of Finance (OF). The Office of Finance manages VHA's financial resources for Veterans receiving healthcare. Position Responsibilities: Support adherence to Federal, State, and Local financial laws, regulations, and activities. Provide operational support to a large financial organization, including analysis and interpretation of accounting and audit policies. Lead and coordinate financial, performance, and compliance audits. Implement financial and acquisition systems. Develop detailed audit plans, scopes, and objectives based on risk assessments and client priorities. Conduct complex audit fieldwork, including data analysis, transaction testing, interviews, and internal control evaluations. Supervise and review the work of junior auditors to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to auditing standards, providing guidance and feedback as needed. Identify risks, trends, and potential waste, and recommend corrective actions. Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported audit reports, findings, and recommendations for senior leadership and stakeholders. Present audit results to leadership and stakeholders. Guide the implementation of audit recommendations and monitor the progress of prior findings. Ensure all audits comply with applicable laws and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
