The Fulton County Board of Health provides a variety of services that help protect residents from health threats, increase access to health services to improve health outcomes, and provide information that assists Fulton County citizens in living healthier lives.

The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of

Linkage to Care Specialist

within the

Fulton County Board of Health , in the

Medical and Preventive Services .

Under supervision, learns to provide technical assistance and training within a health care specialty. Plans, directs, and implements a specialty program. Evaluates programs for compliance with state and/or federal guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience performing work related to the area of assignment; or

Six (6) years of experience performing work related to the area of assignment; or

Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.

Note:

Some positions may require licensure.

Ability to synthesize, hypothesize, and/or theorize concerning data, involving modification of policies, strategies, or methods to meet unique or unusual conditions, within organizational theories and management principles.

Ability to function in a managerial capacity for a division or organizational unit, including decision-making on procedural and technical levels.

Equipment, Machinery, Tools, and Materials Utilization:

Ability to operate and control equipment and machinery, monitoring, adjusting, and regulating multiple conditions.

Verbal Attitude:

Ability to utilize a wide variety of reference, descriptive, advisory, and design data and information.

Mathematical Attitude:

Ability to perform moderately complex algebraic and geometric operations, and utilize principles of basic probability and statistical inference.

Functional Reasoning:

Ability to apply principles of logical or synthesis functions, analyze major problems, and plan complex activities spanning multiple work units.

Situational Reasoning:

Ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in critical or unexpected situations involving moderate risk.
