About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our team with content creation, social media management, digital design, and website updates. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll wear multiple hats, contributing to everything from daily social media posts to optimizing our web presence.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager to bring our brand to life across platforms, maintain and improve our website and SharePoint site, and enhance user experience through thoughtful design, SEO, and strategic content.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing and scheduling content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) Design flyers, graphics, and marketing materials using Canva (Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus) Help maintain and update our Squarespace website with content, layout, and SEO improvements Work on updating and improving our SharePoint site (SharePoint experience is a plus) Support basic SEO improvements across the website (titles, metadata, keywords, accessibility) Assist with the planning and execution of digital ads (Meta, Google, or similar platforms) Support email marketing (Hubspot, Mailchimp, or similar tools) Track and report on social media, website, and ad analytics Organize and maintain digital assets and media files Collaborate on event promotion and community outreach campaigns Contribute creative ideas to elevate our marketing and storytelling

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required), or a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience instead of a degree 1–2 years of hands-on experience in marketing, communications, or design roles Strong skills in Canva and basic graphic design Comfortable updating and working within Squarespace Experience with SharePoint is a plus Familiarity with digital ad platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.) Working knowledge of SEO best practices Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML/CSS, and platforms like Mailchimp, Hubspot, or other email tools Strong writing, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Additional Information
Hourly, Full-Time (40 hours/week) Pay: $20/hr Primarily On-site at our San Diego office with opportunities for hybrid work depending on department needs Reports to Marketing & Communications Manager
