We are looking for a
Director of SEC Reporting
to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities Oversee the preparation of all SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks Ensure that all filings are accurate and in compliance with SEC rules and regulations Manage the SEC reporting team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SEC regulations Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits and reviews Monitor and analyze changes in SEC reporting requirements and ensure that the company is prepared to comply with new regulations Work with other departments, including finance, legal, and investor relations, to provide accurate and timely information for SEC filings Review and interpret financial statements and disclosures for compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA preferred 10+ years of experience in SEC reporting, accounting, or auditing required In-depth knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements Strong leadership and management skills with experience in managing a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities
